The purpose of the foster parent forum is to share information and connect with other foster parents in Monroe County, NY on topics of mutual interest, and to provide support to each other during the journey of foster parenting.

No personal or business solicitations or advertisements are allowed. The exchange of items relating to foster children is appropriate and encouraged, such as clothes, babysitting, and baby/children gear (i.e. high chairs, cribs, sports equipment). We suggest that you are selective in providing your own personal information such as telephone numbers and addresses as we cannot control how that information may be used beyond our message board.

You may link to other informational web sites when relevant to the discussion.

We encourage you to use good judgment and manners in discussing personnel, foster children and other foster parents. Confidentiality rules are still in effect regarding disclosing the names of foster children.
